This 30-foot cascade is easily accessible via a 300-yard walk down a gravel road. The pull-off, with its large stone columns and iron gate, makes you think its private property. However, it is indeed public land as the U.S. Forest Service stake inside the gate indicates. According to a Forest Service ranger, the land was in the process of being developed for homesites when the Forest Service acquired it. Some remnants of this development remain. However, the gazebo is now gone.   Directions: From Westminster, take US 76 for about 15 miles. Look for the pull-off on the left after you pass Chattooga Ridge Road on the right.
